About Us
Welcome to the website of the Soul Kitchen & Bar, our dream-come-true inspired by our family’s passion to give our customers an unrivalled modern dining and drinking experience. Our story starts when Peter and Loreta Stojanovski opened the nearby Vardar Restaurant in 1979.
Originally from Macedonia, Peter trained as a chef and worked as a Head Chef in nearby Arundel before he and his young wife Loreta took the plunge and opened The Vardar – one of Littlehampton’s first Mediterranean restaurants. From day one, their desire was to cook and serve great food influenced by their Macedonian heritage and create a friendly, Mediterranean-style atmosphere for their guests that continues to this day.
Daughter Tina and son-in-law Goran work alongside Peter and Loreta and have brought their own creative influences and passion for a warm welcome and outstanding service to the family business. In August 2024, they opened Soul Kitchen & Bar, a much-needed ultramodern addition to the Littlehampton social scene which specialises in contemporary food plus an outstanding range of drinks and cocktails all served in uber-cool surroundings.
We invite you to join us, experience our legendary hospitality and soak up the atmosphere. A resident DJ brings the beats every weekend from 5 p.m.
